Omega 3 in Cod Liver Oil

People believe that omega 3 is beneficial for human body. Some decades ago, it was used as the main substance to support diet. Yet, recent technology brings many inventions that omega 3 is not only beneficial for diet but also for many other things that can support human is life.

Initially, people relayed their consumption of omega 3 to the red meat such as beef. However, nowadays it is not anymore reliable to take the omega 3 from those sources since many cows nowadays are already injected with many drugs that prevent them from so many diseases. Thus, it is the fish oil that becomes the main sources of omega 3.

The benefits that can be taken from the fish oil, or more specific cod liver oil, is doubtlessly numerous. Not only for adult, such as preventing from heart diseases by controlling the body cholesterol level, avoiding cancers and many others, but also it is proved great for children by helping them with cognitive function and brain development. It is also proved able to prevent the occurrence of ADD or ADHD in children. Thus, it is so much important to include fish oil or cod liver oil in our consumption every day for a better health.
